This was a fun web design project for a friend of mine who is in the insurance business. This website was designed to attract the persons looking to purchase long term life insurance. Turns out that the leads (clicks) were way too expensive in the Google pay per click arena for the insurance industry. Actually, they were the most expensive that I have experienced while managing Google pay per click accounts for my clients.

Our initial research indicated the lead would potentially be high, and we thought that possibly looking in and around Charlotte specifically would bring it down to a reasonable price level. Also building a quality website helps the actual cost of each click however unfortunately the playing field was still quite pricey. Normally, Google in my opinion is a very affordable advertising vehicle with tremendous potential. Like every marketing avenue though, nothing is a perfect fit every business. He definitely has a nice site to refer people to though!
